Below you’ll find a basic Shaman Leveling Heirloom. If your looking for something more advanced, check out The Worlds Best WoW Guide.

Heirloom items are valuable in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, since they automatically take on the attributes of blue quality items of its wearer’s level. Another important advantage of heirlooms is their lack of durability stat, hence there is no need for repair. This saves a lot of money when leveling a Shaman. Shaman Leveling Rotation

April 8th, 2010 WOW Geek No comments

Below you’ll find a basic Shaman Leveling Rotation. If your looking for something more advanced, check out The Worlds Best WoW Guide.

I can say that the most versatile class in the World of Warcraft is the Shaman. The Shaman combines the abilities of the Rogue, Mage and Priest. Since the Shaman does not specialize, mastering this class is not as easy as other classes. You have to dedicate some time and effort before you can use the Shaman’s versatility to your full advantage. This article will provide you a short overview of the Shaman’s talent trees. I will also share with you an effective Shaman leveling build and a powerful Shaman leveling rotation.

The main roles of the Shaman are buffing and healing. DPS depends on your Shaman leveling spec. If you want a healing Shaman to support other players, a Resto Shaman guide would really help, although I don’t really recommend Restoration in leveling due to its very low damage output. You basically have two options if your main objective is leveling: Elemental and Enhancement. The Elemental talent tree focuses on abilities that have very high burst damage. The Enhancement talent tree on the other hand gives your Shaman dual wielding abilities that greatly boost your Melee damage.

Go for Elemental Shaman leveling, its by far the best spec for your Shaman. I would like to share with you my best spec from my three year experience as a Shaman.

Elemental Talents: Convection 3/5, Concussion 5/5, Call of Flame 3/3, Elemental Devastation 3/3, Elemental Focus 1/1, Elemental Fury 5/5, Improved Fire Nova 2/2, Eye of the Storm 3/3, Elemental Reach 2/2, Call of Thunder 1/1, Unrelenting Storm 3/3, Elemental Precision 3/3, Lightning Mastery 5/5, Elemental Mastery 1/1, Storm, Earth and Fire 3/3, Elemental Oath 2/2, Lightning Overload 3/3, Totem of Wrath 1/1, Lava Flows 3/3, Shamanism 5/5, Thunderstorm 1/1

Enhancement Talents: Ancestral Knowledge 5/5, Thundering Strikes 5/5, Elemental Weapons 3/3, Shamanistic Focus 1/1

If you want to get most of this Shaman leveling rotation, try this effective Shaman spell rotation that I swear by. It’s a very simple rotation: Just spam Lightning Bolt to kill your targets dead. Once you reach Level 75, you can obtain Lava Burst. At this point, follow this shaman leveling  rotation: Flame Shock > Lava Burst > Spam Lightning Bolt.

In conclusion, if you want the fastest and most effective Shaman leveling build, I highly suggest that you stick to Elemental and try the rotation above.

Elemental Shaman Leveling

Below you’ll find a basic Elemental Shaman Leveling guide. If your looking for something more advanced, check out The Worlds Best WoW Guide.

In World of Warcraft, the Shaman is a very unique and versatile class. What makes the Shaman unique is his various buffs and debuffs from his Totems. You have to give some time and effort if you want to master Shaman leveling, as this is not an easy class to play. You have two options when it comes to leveling: Elemental or Enhancement. Avoid leveling as Restoration. This talent tree is intended only for healing, so it is not very useful in leveling. In this article, we will take a look at the advantages of both Enhancement and Elemental Shaman leveling.

The Elemental Tree

Elemental is the talent tree most favoured by PvP Shamans who want to deal considerable damage. The Elemental Shaman has the most powerful burst damage compared to other classes. Some remarkable talents under this tree include Thunderstorm, which increases your Shaman’s defence and pushes enemies away, aside from having Mana restorative abilities, and Elemental Mastery, which allows your Shaman to instant cast damaging spells such as Lighting Bolt, Chain Lightning and Lava Burst. Playing as Elemental will save your Mana consumption because of valuable talents such as Unrelenting Storm, which regenerates your Mana even while casting, and Elemental Focus, which gives you a Clearcasting effect after you cast any critical damage spell and lessens your Mana consumption for your next spell by 40%. These talents will save you from drinking a lot to restore Mana.

The Enhancement Tree

This talent tree offers a combination of Melee and spell damage output. Some players favor the Enhancement build due to its speed and efficiency. An Enhancement Shaman rarely needs to drink so you will have almost zero downtime. One downside of choosing this Shaman leveling spec is you need to get closer to enemies and this decreases your health and increases damage to your equipment, which makes you spend a bit more. The specialty of this talent tree is the ability to get Dual Wield at Level 40, which speeds up the killing. Remarkable talents under this tree include Thundering Strike and Stormstrike.

Some players say the best way is to level an Elemental Shaman, while others opt to go Enhancement. There is rally no best way and it all depends on the player. Both Elemental and Enhancement builds have positive and negative sides. If you’re the type of Shaman who wants to deal good damage, go for Elemental shaman leveling. If you’re the type who likes healing, check out this Enhancement Shaman guide.

Leveling A Shaman

On this page you’ll find some basic tips for Leveling A Shaman. If your looking for something more advanced, check out The Worlds Best WoW Guide.

Many players in the World of Warcraft favour the Shaman, especially in a PvP group setting. The Shaman is extremely important in group play because of its versatility, combining both the Rogue’s combat abilities and the Priest’s healing abilities. This article is intended to give you a short overview on leveling a Shaman.

If you choose to play the Shaman, it is very important that you master your totems. Totems are the Shaman’s primary weapon. You must complete specific quests in order to obtain them. These quests usually require the Shaman to journey to different zones. Once you obtain a totem, you will be able to cast spells according to the spell’s corresponding element.

Let’s learn more about the four totems. The first totem obtained when leveling a Shaman in wow is called the Earth Totem. This allows you to cast spells that increase offense and defence, as well as spells that taunt or slow down the enemy. The second is the Fire Totem. This totem is mainly used to deal damage. The third is the Water Totem, mainly used for restoration spells. And the fourth is the Air Totem, similar to the Earth Totem, this allows you to enhance certain offensive and defensive aspects.

Next, let’s get to know more about transforming into Ghost Wolf form. After you reach level 20, you will be able to transform into a Ghost Wolf. This transformation will serve a great deal to your advantage as it increases your speed by 40%. Aside from this, you will be able to deal bite attack and become hard to see by other players, which is a very important assent in PvP.

Now let’s learn more about the Shaman’s talent trees: Elemental, Enhancement and Restoration. Elemental would be the best option for solo play, as this tree increases your Shaman’s magical damage from a longer distance similar to that of a Mage. The Enhancement tree increases melee damage, making your Shaman as powerful as a Rogue. The Restoration tree greatly focuses on increasing your Shaman’s healing abilities similar to a Priest. One thing you should keep in mind is to prevent your Shaman from tanking. The Shaman does not specialize in Melee Range and it would be a better idea to leave the tanking to the Warriors.

Finally, it is essential when Shaman leveling to choose a good profession. Leatherworking and Skinning will provide you with the most useful items. If your objective is to make money, you can opt for Mining or Herbalism and sell the materials you gather.
